Dealer Connect 2025: A Must-Attend Event for Powersports Dealers

Written by Jacob Berry | Sep 4, 2025 7:00:00 AM

Running a dealership today is harder than ever. Customer expectations are rising, OEM programs are evolving, and the next generation of riders is harder to reach. Dealers need more than just trade shows and vendor showcases, they need a forum designed for them, by them. That is exactly what Dealer Connect delivers.

Now in its second year, Dealer Connect will be held September 21–23, 2025 in Columbus, Ohio. Hosted by the National Powersports Dealer Association (NPDA), it is the only event where dealers build the agenda and lead the conversations.

A Dealer-First Format

Unlike traditional industry shows, Dealer Connect is organized around dealer priorities. NPDA’s board and members put together the program, ensuring the sessions address real-world dealership challenges: pre-owned inventory, credit and compliance, service department efficiency, and digital retailing.

That focus makes Dealer Connect stand out. The inaugural event featured sessions with National Powersports Auction, Tom O’Connor School, 700Credit, and others who spoke directly to dealer pain points. This year promises even more actionable takeaways, including sessions with Garage Composites’ full team, new insights from NPA, and fresh data from LightSpeed.

The Power of a Unified Voice

Tigra says The NPDA was founded to give dealers a stronger voice. In just four years, it has already proven its impact. One example: the NPDA’s Harley-Davidson Council supported a key provision in the federal “Big Beautiful Bill” that secured tax deductions for interest on U.S.-assembled motorcycles, a win not only for Harley and Polaris but for any domestic manufacturer.

That kind of advocacy only works when dealers unite. Dealer Connect is where that unity is most visible, and where the industry sees dealers showing strength together.

Education and Relationships

Beyond advocacy, the NPDA invests in dealer education through its EDGE Learning Program (Education, Development, Growth, Excellence). Dealer Connect extends that learning into face-to-face workshops and networking. The goal is to leave with strategies you can implement the moment you get back to your store.

Equally important is the networking. Dealer Connect creates the space for dealers to meet each other, compare notes, and share solutions. Those conversations often turn into partnerships and ideas that drive long-term growth.

Why You Should Be There

September is always busy, but this is one event worth prioritizing. Dealer Connect will not only give you tools to improve operations, it will also connect you to the national movement of dealers working to secure the future of our industry.

Dealer Connect is more than an event. It is a statement that powersports dealers are united, organized, and ready to lead. I’ll be there, and I hope you will too.
